T-Raww also posted glimpses of his response. “Life has been my greatest teacher,” he writes. “And one day I know if god wants us together he will make it happen. Keep your faith strong.”

The notes from Tyga’s father, currently in the 25th year of his sentence, are reflective. “This level three shit allows me to work on my case and clearly think,” one screenshot read. “So as I share with you my remembrance of this twenty five year incarceration you better know I’ve always thought of You praying that one day I would locate you and your mom. Give my grandson a hugg and kiss for me. Stay up, stay focused and stay being you… Fuc tha rest. Always Pops”

“Pac taught me a lot more than my own father. Inspired me, Motivated Me, Listened without ever being there,” Tyga wrote before sharing prison letters from his real-life dad.

While the Internet perceived it as a prime opportunity for slander, the tribute tweet to the late West Coast rhymer served as a springboard for a life lesson inspired by Tyga’s real-life father, who is currently serving a life sentence.
