Jai Love, pronounced J Love, is a recording R&B/Hip Hop singer/songwriter from Huntsville, Ala. She has performed in several areas in the Alabama region as well as Atlanta. She have worked with artist such as Tana formerly known as Montana Da Mac, Chastain Stone, Q Pee, Big Sam from Lil Jon and Eastside Boys, Bando Jones, Kwony Cash and Urban Mystic along with many more artist from the Atlanta area as well as many from Alabama. Between 2012- 2013, she won the Road to Success contest that was held in Huntsville by Atlanta, GA record label Urban Vision where she received a development deal with Urban Vision Ent. She did not accept the detail due to legal issue. She was placed on the ballet nominated for Female R&B Artist of the year at the Urban Vision Award in 2012. Also in 2012, She had teamed up with Jimmy Heart and the Spincity Radio family where she had her own nights on the Spin city Radio, an Online Radio station, called The Love Zone where she reflect on R&B/Pop/Soul and R&B Hip Hop artist. In late September of 2012, she joined Grind Nation, which is a group that was arrange by Jurian Isabelle, which gives other people a chance to display their talent in a fashion show. In 2014 she was nominated again for Female R&B Artist at the SMC Award Show in Memphis, TN. Jai is very active in her community as well. In spring of 2014, she joined a nonprofit organization, HSV Revolution, that solely focuses on uniting and rebuilding the community with love. My name is Jai (J) Love and I am a singer/songwriter.

Who was your favorite artist growing up? Why?

My favorite artist growing up was Mary J. Blige because she was a realist. She sung about real life situations.

We know you won the Road to Success contest in Huntsville, how disappointed were you that you were unable to move forward with the development deal?

Actually, I moved forward and won in Atlanta where I received a development deal with Urban Vision Ent. I just didn’t accept the deal due to legal purposes.

Who would you say is your competition in the industry today?

Honestly, I wouldn’t say I’m in competition with anyone. I want everyone whose pursuing a dream to win.

How important is your fashion compared to your music?

My fashion isn’t important as music. When it comes to fashion. I’m very laid back but sexy. I try to remain classy with a little spice.

What other projects are you currently working on?

Currently I’m working on a movie, The Last Disciples, with Jurian Isabelle. We just finished the shooting and now working on the edits. We’re looking to drop sometime this fall.

Who would you like to work with in the future?

A. For future collaborations I would like to work with Tink, Mary J. Blige, Monica, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and a few others. It’s just too many to name.
